Does it cost anything to call?

There is no charge to you for the referral. Your normal phone rates apply. If you hire a provider, you pay that provider for the work under the terms you agree with them.

Do I have to hire the provider I'm connected with?

No. You can ask questions, get an estimate and decide for yourself. You can also contact any other company you choose.

Can the provider bill my insurance company?

Many restoration providers work with insurance claims and can share photos, moisture readings and estimates with your adjuster. Ask the provider how they handle billing and what you owe, such as your deductible.
